They will want an immediate response from their players and Heidenheim is likely to face the full wrath of Leipzig at the Red Bull arena. We are predicting a home win and over 2.5 goals to be scored. 

Stuttgart vs Monchengladbach

Tip: Under 2.5 goals

Both teams will be looking for their first win of the season after Stuttgart went down away to Union Berlin and Monchengladbach were held to a disappointing goalless draw against newly promoted Hamburg. Goals were hard to come by for these sides therefore we are predicting there will be under 2.5 goals scored in this match.   

Hoffenheim vs Eintracht Frankfurt 

Tip: Both Teams to score 

It was a winning start for both teams in the opening round with Hoffenheim disposing of former champions Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 in their own backyard while Frankfurt thrashed Werder Bremen 4-1. They showed no ill effects of losing their two key strikers from last season as they put on a scoring masterpiece. We are expecting goals in this fixture therefore we predict both teams to score.  

Werder Bremen vs Bayer Leverkusen 

Tip: Leverkusen to win or draw 

Both teams started their season with defeats with Werder being thrashed 4-1 on the road by Frankfurt while it was a worst possible start for Erik Ten Hag as his side lost 2-1 to Hoffenheim on their home patch. This fixture has been cruel to the home team in the past with just one home win in the last 14 fixtures between the sides. Expect this trend to continue therefore we are predicting an away win or draw. 

Augsburg vs Bayern Munich

Augsburg surprised many in the opening round when they won away to Freiburg 3-1 but the performance of the round belonged to the champions as they thrashed RB Leipzig 6-0. The manner of the victory sent chills down the spine of all other teams as Harry Kane bagged a hattrick and new signing Luiz Diaz scored and provided an assist. Bayern have won the last six matches against Augsburg and we are backing them to make it seven straight wins against this opponent.

Wolfsburg vs Mainz 

Tip: Over 2.5 goals

Wolfsburg will be looking to make it two wins from two after their excellent opening round victory over Heidenheim. Their opponents, Mainz suffered one of the most surprising defeats of the opening round as they lost at home to newly promoted Koln. The visitors will be desperate to atone for that loss and should come out firing. The last three matches between the sides have produced 15 goals therefore we are predicting over 2.5 goals in this encounter. 

Borussia Dortmund vs Union Berlin

Tip: Dortmund to win 

Dortmund will be hoping to get their first win of the season when they play their opening home match against Union Berlin. The home side will be kicking themselves after they drew 3-3 with St. Pauli in the opening round, conceding two late goals and having a player sent off to throw away three points.
