The 2024/2025 English Premier League (EPL) season is poised to deliver another thrilling year of football. With new managerial changes, exciting player transfers, and promoted teams eager to make their mark, the league’s landscape promises both surprises and fierce competition.

This Topbets English Premiership League preview for the 2024/2025 season will delve into key aspects such as expected performances, standout fixtures, potential league winners, top-four candidates, relegation battles, individual honors, and managerial outlooks.

Who Won the 2025/2026 English Premier League?

It is confirmed, Liverpool has won the 2024/25 English Premier League with 4 games left to play. Liverpool’s new manager, Arne Slot, took them to the title on his first try after replacing Klopp, who won only 1 League title during his time at Liverpool.

How Many Premier League Titles has Liverpool Won?

Liverpool has won 20 League titles, equaling Manchester United’s record. The Reds had a period of 30-year drought where they couldn’t win the league before winning it in July 2020 under Klopp’s management.

Will Liverpool Be Given a Guard of Honor By EPL Clubs for Winning the Premier League?

Ahead of Liverpool’s visit to Stamford Bridge for their clash against Chelsea. The Blues coach Enzo Maresca said that his team will give Liverpool a guard of honor for winning the league because they deserve it.

Other teams are expected to give the champions a guard of honor, but it is not a must, and it should not be surprising if a team doesn’t give Liverpool that respect.

Premier League 2024/2025: Game Week 36 Review

The EPL gameweek 36 gave us exciting results and fun-filled games as the battle for the top 4 becomes more intense.

Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Nottingham Forest all drop points as the race for UCL qualification gets more intense.

Below, we’ll bring you brief highlights of the most important games, in case you missed them.

Bournemouth 0-1 Aston Villa: The Villains Get a Close Win

As the race for next season’s Champions League qualifications rages on, Aston Villa wins a crucial game.

Aston Villa visited Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium and got a very crucial win. Aston Villa started the game really well as they tested the Bournemouth goalkeeper many times.

They finally got a breakthrough in the 45th minute via a cool Ollie Watkins finish. Both teams tried to score again, but the home side scored a late equalizer, which was ruled out in a controversial call.

This result means Aston Villa are on the same points as Chelsea and have high hopes of making the UCL qualification.

As the game progressed, Chelsea were down to 10 men as Nicolas Jackson made a bad foul. In the second half, Chelsea was better and tried to score. They had many chances to score, but Newcastle held on and later got a second goal via Bruno Guimaraes in the 90th minute, sealing Chelsea’s fate.

In the second half, Arsenal became more determined, and Martinelli scored in the 47th minute. Mikel Merino equalized for Arsenal in the 70th minute, and Arsenal tried getting a third, but Merino was given a second yellow.
