On the other hand the Reds have a lengthy absentee list coming into this one, with Ibrahima Konaté, Alisson Becker, Conor Bradley, Diogo Jota, Federico Chiesa and Kostas Tsimikas all in the treatment room. Ibrahima Konate is sidelined with a knee injury alongside Conor Bradley out with a Hamstring injury. Diogo Jota is closer to returning from his abdominal problem, but the trip to Girona came a little soon for him. First-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker will be ready “very soon” as he enters the final stages of his hamstring recovery, but Caoimhin Kelleher will continue in between the posts for now. Alexis Mac Allister is suspended for Liverpool’s next premier match after he picked up his third yellow card against Real Madrid and he will miss their match against Girona.
