Atalanta’s excellent form this season is made even more impressive given that they have been without two key players. Both Giorgio Scalvini and Gianluca Scamacca are sidelined with ACL injuries. Giorgio Scalvini is nearing his return while Gianluca Scamacca will return in April. Former Chelsea full-back Davide Zappacosta remains sidelined due to a calf injury.
Milan’s Paulo Fonseca has been trying to build a balanced squad from his team having a very deep squad with lots of attackers in particular. One of those attackers, Luka Jovic, is missing due to a groin injury with injury prone Ismael Bennacer also sidelined alongside Alessandro Florenzi, who is dealing with an ACL injury.
